The exhibition Renzo Codognotto: Oniriche atmosfere

From 23 March to 14 April it is possible to visit the exhibition Renzo Codognotto: Oniriche atmosfere by the curator Alain Chivilò at the Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea of San Donà di Pieve in the region of Venice.

Oniriche atmosfere (“dreamlike atmospheres”) describes the artistic journey of the painter Renzo Codognotto: there are fifties works expressing his light brushstroke which is unusual in comparison to the bright and contrasting colours of the post-impressionist landscape, in which the painter was living. A light patina seems to descend upon the painting, blending all the colours and figures in a palette of blue, white and yellow. The subjects are simple – sea and shores, urban views and naked women in the sunlight – but the imagine hides the secret and intimate dimension of the mental and spiritual state of the human. The gentle and light style tries to represent the human uncertainties and waits.

If you are near Venice or if you’re looking for a destination, Leoncini Restaurant suggests that you visit this exhibition of Renzo Condognotto.
